Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak is a Danish businesswoman who has a net worth of $2.7 billion. Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak rose to riches both as owner and chairman of a $1.3 billion (sales) Danish shoe manufacturer, Ecco, which was founded by her late father back in 1963. The brand, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, is now present in more than 90 countries and has more than 1,000 stores. Toosbuy became involved in the family business right after her graduation, and she got the chance to learn every single aspect of operation of the company shifting from one department into another. It was in 1997, after a stint in Germany, that she got back to Denmark to take over control as chairman.
In addition to taking the helm of Ecco, Toosbuy also serves as vice chairman of Sydbank, the fourth largest bank in Denmark. Her husband, Dieter Kasprzak, was a chief designer at several leading shoe factories before joining Ecco. In 2004, following his father-in-law's death, he got appointed as President, a position he still holds.
