Wei Shaojun is a Chinese real estate developer who has a net worth of $1.25 billion. A billionaires' list newcomer, Shaojun made his debut last year thanks to the success of his real estate development company Longjitaihe, of Hebei Province. Wei's wealth went beyond $1 billion last year on the strength of Longjitaihe, which mainly operates in China's second and third-tier cities. More precisely, the company's projects include Baigou New City, a commercial real estate center that covers more 740 acres in Hebei, and Zhuozhou Bamboo Culture Villas, south of Beijing.
As of late, it has also revealed plans to develop around 2,700 acres of property in Tangshan, Tianjin and Langfang, out of which solely Tangshan is estimated to be a $887 million investment. With more than 20,000 employees and government-run partners like Hebei Port Group, Longjitaihe is yet to grow. Moreover, Wei Shaojun is a member of China's National Party Congress.
